On Shore Architecture

An update on VSBA's Lieb House. Firstly, A link to some video footage of the house on its way to the river prior to being shipped to Long Island, and secondly a story here that it might be broken up if this doesn't happen soon enough. The rather desolate photo above is via this story in the New York Times.

(Thanks to Richard Paine for the links).

Do you have a plan / section nearby? Otherwise I'm at a loss regarding its magnificence...

I would prefer to be enlightened, rather than wallowing in philistinism.

...wanting to take a road trip to NYC. Can't think of a better way to spend my time than watching this building proudly float up the Atlantic Coast (and up the East River successfully passing under the Brooklyn Bridge!)...who's with me?
